Our company is revolutionising the $300B US food supply industry by directly connecting the people who produce and distribute food with those who purchase and prepare it in a commercial setting. Our platform provides wholesale suppliers, manufacturers, and their customers (restaurants, caterers, hotels and lodging, etc.) with an all-in-one order management, shopping, payment, and tracking solution that saves valuable time, allowing users to do more with their existing staff, and ultimately, build a more profitable business.

The Cut+Dry founders and executive team have a background uniquely suited to attack this complicated problem. Consisting of lifelong Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, the leaders have built multiple startups and possess deep domain expertise in the restaurant and food supply chain business, having sold previous startups to one of the world’s largest food distributors.

Qualifications & Core Competencies:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent technical field
• Have at least 3+ years of work experience.
• Experience in big data technologies - Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, MapReduce, Snowflake etc
• Strong expertise in ETL/EDW designing and practices.
• Deep knowledge in SQL and query performance optimisation.
• Solid understanding in designing and implementing data warehouses using Snowflake/AWS redshift.
• Hands-on experience with data visualisation technologies such as Streamlit/Grafana/PowerBI.
• Good understanding in data quality, data governance, data security and privacy measures
• Proficiency in database design principles with hand-on experience in relational databases(MySQL/Postgres) and graph databases (neo4j).
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be passionate about solving problems.
